Amanda & Nicholas' Wedding - October 22, 2011

What a great ending to the wedding season! Amanda and Nicholas were married October 22nd at the Halton Region Museum in Milton. The scenery provided the perfect backdrop for their outdoor ceremony. I had a great time photographing Amanda, Nicholas and their wonderful bridal party around the historic buildings on site. It was so much fun! From the old barn to the blacksmith shop, this was the perfect venue! Their respective families were so kind and charming and it was so easy to work with everyone. It was my pleasure, honour and privilege to get to know these two amazing people and I wish them a long, happy life together. Congratulations Amanda & Nicholas!

Kim & Trevor's Wedding - August 13, 2011

Kim and Trevor were married on a beautiful summer afternoon at Casablanca in Stoney Creek. As I documented their wedding, I could not help being overwhelmed with emotion. Both Kim and Trevor radiated a joy that was simply infectious, and that's what their wedding was all about; their love for each other, their joy and the most important people in their lives to celebrate with them. Their day was full of smiles and pure simple, joy. I hope they love their photos as much as I enjoyed taking them! I wish both Kim and Trevor many happy years together!

Crystal & Darren's Wedding - July 31, 2011

When I met with Crystal and Darren back in February for their consultation, I knew this was going to be a great wedding; one that was 10 years in the making. I remember Crystal telling me that they waited to do their wedding "right" and that they wanted it to be everything they dreamed of! Crystal and Darren were married on a beautiful Sunday afternoon at Teatro Conference & Event Centre in Milton, in a formal celebration with their family and friends. Following the ceremony, we were able to get some great portraits of the new Mr. and Mrs. at Milton Town Hall. I am so glad that the weather was great! The celebration continued on into the evening with their reception back at Teatro. I had such an amazing time with Crystal and Darren and I wish them many, many years of love and happiness!

Stacie & Michael's Wedding - July 16, 2011

A perfect summer day best describes Stacie & Michael's wedding! Stacie & Michael were married July 16th at Belfountain Conservation Area. Belfountain offered them the perfect venue for their breathtaking ceremony. Surrounded by nature, close family and friends, Stacie & Michael exchanged their vows and celebrated their union with some family photos and their wedding portraits with their wonderful bridal party on the beautiful property. I don't think Stacie & Michael could have asked for a more perfect day! I wish them all the best! Here are a few pics from our session.

Jennifer & Joel's Wedding - June 4, 2011

I have heard that rain on a wedding day brings good luck and happiness to the bride & groom. With the heavy rain and thunderstorms the morning of Jennifer and Joel's wedding, they are sure to have a long and happy marriage! Jennifer and Joel were married at Hillcrest United Church in Georgetown and it was evident that they were surrounded by many loving family members and friends. The ominous clouds hung overhead that afternoon, but once again, luck (or fate) prevailed and we were able to take some wonderful bridal party and bride and groom portraits at Piper's Heath Golf Club in Milton. Thank you to Marc, the General Manager at Piper's Heath, for allowing us the opportunity to take the photos on the amazing property, and for supplying two golf carts to shuttle the bridal party around the property. Jennifer & Joel's reception at Teatro Conference & Event Centre in Milton was a great party and one that lasted to the wee hours of the morning. It was so clear by listening to the speeches that evening that Jennifer and Joel are happy, optimistic about their new lives together and truly made for one another. Thank you Jennifer and Joel - your day was lovely and I am so glad that I was a part of it! Best wishes to you both!

Jessica & Azzedine's Wedding - May 14, 2011

What a joy it was to finally meet Jessica and Azzedine on their wedding day! As they live in Iowa, Jessica and Azzedine planned their Niagara Falls destination wedding with me via email and Skype. Jessica and Azzedine were married in the Rainbow Room at the Crowne Plaza, surrounded by close family who travelled with them from Iowa. We planned on using Oakes Garden Theatre located at the foot of Clifton Hill as we knew it would be the perfect spot for their wedding photos. Constructed in 1936, this spot offered a superb panoramic view of the American and Horseshoe Falls, as well as formal rock gardens and stone architecture. Despite the menacing weather including fog and rain that day, the skies held up for just a short period of time so that we were able to get all of the shots that we needed. I am so happy for Jessica and Azzedine and I wish them a lifetime of happiness! Thank you for allowing me to be such a special part of your day!

Kendra & Dan's Wedding - February 5th

I was so excited to do my first wedding of 2011! Kendra & Dan's winter wedding took place in Hamilton at St. Margaret Mary's church in Hamilton. Despite three different weather forecasts, all of which called for a mild day with overcast skies, the skies opened up and the winter weather returned with quite the blizzard! Kendra & Dan's ceremony was beautiful and intimate and I believe, everything they imagined. We were able to get outside for just a few brief moments to do some outdoor winter shots. Then it was off to The Grand Olympia in Stoney Creek for the reception. This venue provided them with a beautiful and sophisticated backdrop for their wedding reception. I had a great day with Kendra & Dan and really enjoyed being a special part of their wedding day. Congratulations and all the best! Cheers!
